Toelichting

  • Dit gebeurt meestal door stuurcorrecties en/of waarschuwingen wanneer u onbedoeld de rijstrook dreigt te verlaten. Het systeem reageert bijvoorbeeld niet wanneer de richtingaanwijzer aan staat. In tegenstelling tot Lane centring of AKLS, reageert het systeem alleen wanneer het voertuig de rijstrook dreigt te verlaten. Sommige systemen staan een bepaalde mate van het verlaten van de rijstrook toe, voordat het voertuig wordt teruggestuurd naar de rijstrook. Huidige systemen gebruiken wegmarkering die van voldoende kwaliteit en goed zichtbaar is. Verder grijpt LKA dus in met een stuurbeweging, terwijl LDW alleen waarschuwt (nl). Usually the system executes steering corrections and/or warning signals when the driver unintentionally leaves the driving lane. The system does not respond when using turn signals. Unlike lane centring or ALKS, this system operates exceptionally when it detects that the vehicle is about to depart from the driven lane. Some systems allow a degree of line crossing before directing the vehicle back into the lane from which it is departing. Current systems rely on lane markings of sufficient quality and visibility to support the function (en).
